It is obviously a lamp. It is very pretty and well detailed, the silver itself is actually a bit on the shinier metallic silver rather then a dark or base color so be expected when you get it to know that the dragon and castle itself is actually a metallic silver. The rod that comes out the back of the lamp is a little strange at first and the bulb gets hot very quickly (within minutes it was red hot...I am not an electrician so whether this is normal or not I do not know.) Otherwise it is a great piece for anyone looking to add more to there Medieval or Dragon collectibles. (by Chris)
